“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.” (Psalm 28:7)
Dear brethren, first of all, we want to thank the Lord for each one of you, who through all of 2016 supported us faithfully both in prayer and financially. We’re praying that in 2017 God will continue to bless you all in every area of your lives and that you will not let go of the lifeline that is so necessary for us to be able to continue reaching more people with the gospel. We thank you with all of our heart.
January: We thank God that Areli has begun her internship. Please continue to pray for her. We continue to grow numerically and spiritually. We always want to see more people, but we know that we have to wait for the Lord’s timing. We were happy that Alan (the young man in this accident) was able to visit. It is amazing to see how the Lord is restoring his health. Once, during our visitation time, we were able to share the gospel with a young man who accepted Christ. We were also visited by the Taylors. The preaching of brother Kevin was a great help and blessing to us. The next day we traveled with them to Tula to attend the “Family Foundations” conference. All of the teaching that we heard there will be a great help to our ministry.
February: We began a home Bible study, thanks to sister Mari who opened the doors of her home. We had a good attendance, and we are asking the Lord to use it for His glory. We also began holding youth meetings, which has been a need for our church. Right now we have a small group, but we are praying more young people will begin attending soon. As is now our tradition, we held our couples dinner, and it was a great blessing to see more couples participating this year. At the end of the evening, several of them commented that it was the first time that they had ever attended an event like that. We are grateful to God for allowing us 25 years of marriage, God is good.
Prayer Requests: For the rent payment for the church. For our missions conference. For the spiritual growth of the church. For wisdom to lead the church. For health and protection for the family. For a car for the family/Ministry.
